Scholarship Descriptions
Legacy Scholarship
The Legacy Scholarship is to assist with tuition for The Andrews School Alumna’s family member in grades 6–12, enabling the student to continue the Andrews Legacy. A family member includes; a Mother, Grandmother, Sister or Aunt who graduated from The Andrews School, The Andrews School for Girls or The Andrews Institute for Girls, between the years of 1911–2007. Graduate must be current with their Alumnae Association dues. If an Alumna is deceased, the student is still eligible for scholarship.
Hibschman and Lee Scholarship
The Ralph O. Hibschman Scholarship and Roberta M. Lee Scholarship is to continue the aspiration of Mr. and Mrs. Andrews to “Educate young girls to become self-reliant women”. Eligibility is an enrolled female student entering grades 9-12 for the following school year. The student must submit an essay topic to be chosen by the scholarship committee and have two (2) confidential letters of recommendations.
Lee/Gray Scholarship
Lee / Gray Scholarship is to recognize an outstanding senior with two consecutive years at AOA, a minimum 3.5 grade point average and a community commitment. The AO community also contributes to this scholarship.
Wallace Corydon and Margaret St. John Andrews Scholarship
Wallace Corydon and Margaret St. John Andrews Scholarship is created for grades 1–5. The student must submit an essay describing their most memorable experience at AOA and why. Eligibility will be based upon essay, school performance and overall citizenship.
